The everyday sound environment places a greater strain on us than we often realise. Echoing offices, hard surfaces, constant background chatter and a flood of sensory stimuli keep the mind alert even when the body needs rest. As noise levels rise, concentration weakens, stress increases and recovery becomes more difficult. In spaces meant for thinking, working and breathing, an unsettled soundscape becomes an invisible barrier to well-being.

In the nature of Lapland, everything is different. There, calm is more than silence. It is the lightness of open landscapes, the slow rhythm of nature, the harmony of colours and the softness of sound. It is the feeling that nothing demands haste. This is why we turn to nature: to ground ourselves, to calm down and to recover. Arctic Nature was created from a desire to bring this Lapland magic into interior spaces — the places where we spend most of our lives.

Arctic Nature Patterns

Moose – dignity and quiet strength

The moose does not rush or seek attention. This pattern brings a sense of balance to the space, creating a calming focal point.

Reindeer – softness and warmth

The reindeer pattern is warm and gentle. It does not demand attention but adds a feeling of calmness and human warmth to the space.

Snowy Owl – airiness and tranquillity

The Snowy Owl pattern is light and open. Its pale, subtle surface expression creates a sense of airiness and clarity in the interior.

Lynx – precision and expressiveness

The Lynx pattern is expressive and refined. Its colouring and surface structure echo the lynx’s smooth movement and alert presence in the forest.

Products

The Arctic Nature Design Series is made of through-dyed polyester fibre with a recycling content of at least 50%. Arctic Nature acoustic panels are always uncoated. The Arctic Nature Design Series is available for the following products:

Ewona Acustica® Premium and Premium+

A 20–25 mm thick acoustic panel that is relatively dense and rigid. Thanks to this, Premium is easy to handle and perfectly suited for free-form cutting into various shapes. The panels are also available with a surface coating; however, in that case the design options do not include Arctic Nature.

Ewona Acustica® 10

As the name suggests, a 10 mm thick, highly dense and rigid acoustic panel. Acustica 10 is used when a slim acoustic element is required. Due to its rigidity, highly detailed shapes can be easily cut according to customer specifications. The panel is also used as the backing board for the AcuDesign acoustic slat panel.

AcuDesign

AcuDesign is an acoustic lath panel developed by Ewona, ideally suited for comfortable interior spaces. The Arctic Nature Design Series is available as a backing panel alongside a wide selection of other designs. Combined with an extensive range of laths, it allows for colour combinations to suit any space.
