Acustica Basic

The Ewona Acustica Basic is a safe and lightweight acoustic panel. It is ideal for demanding spaces where indoor air quality requires special attention. The Acustica Basic products can be used in e.g. daycares, schools, health centres, hospitals, industrial and production facilities, and other public spaces where the sound and noise levels need to be controlled. The products are also suitable for residential construction.

Ewona’s acoustic panels make the space comfortable and complete the soundscape. A properly designed acoustic solution amplifies the useful sounds in a space, such as speech or music. Nuisance sounds such as noise are attenuated so that the decibel level remains low and does not exhaust the people using the space.

The fibre raw material of the Acustica Basic acoustic panelling is clean and partially recycled polyester. Ewona products are made of more than 50% recycled material. They do not release harmful particles into the environment, even in the long run. Ewona’s insulation materials have been granted the right to use the allergy label of The Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Federation and an M1 emission classification. The acoustic panels do not absorb moisture, and therefore do not provide a favourable growth surface for moulds or other microbes.

Our products are CE marked according to the European Harmonised Standard EN13964:2014. CE marked construction products have a Declaration of Performance (DOP) documentation.

The appearance of the acoustic panels can be changed with a tinted coating. The standard colours are white, grey, and black, and other colours are available by special order. The Ewona Acustica panel has an acoustic coating that is suited to e.g. suspended ceilings or for gluing the panels to ceilings and walls.

Ewona’s acoustic panels are easy to shape, making them flexible to install in a variety of spaces. Since acoustic panels are dust-free, they are safe to modify, shape, and install. The skin and respiratory tract won’t be irritated even if you work without protective equipment. More information on installation and mounting methods can be found on the downloadable product card.

Ewona’s Acustica products are convenient to clean. They can be cleaned with a vacuum or a brush. If the dirt is particularly stubborn, it can be removed with a damp cloth. Water and a well-diluted detergent solution are recommended for cleaning, since the surface of the panels cannot withstand repeated use of strong solvents.

The durable Acustica Basic acoustic panels are an ecological solution and they’re suitable for energy waste and textile recycling at the end of their life cycle.
